Les collections patrimoniales de l’université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne : le programme AGIAs
Résumé
Long neglected and often depreciated, university collections have become a real issue in recent years, as well as a subject for research and development in France, Europe and the rest of the world. A scientific programme to study the heritage collections of Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne is currently underway. The aim is to draw up an inventory of these collections, to retrace their history - which is linked to the history of teaching - and to work towards promoting them to the university community and the general public, thereby underlining the importance of the relationship between the university and society. One of the aspects of this programme concerns the Greek antiquities of the Institut d'art et d'archéologie of Paris. This is the AGIAs programme.
Longtemps négligées, souvent dépréciées, les collections universitaires constituent depuis quelques années un véritable enjeu, ainsi qu'un sujet de recherche et de valorisation en France, en Europe et dans le monde. Un programme scientifique d'étude des collections patrimoniales de l'Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne est en cours. Il s'agit d'en dresser l'inventaire, d'en retracer l'histoire-en lien avec celle de la pédagogie-et d'oeuvrer à leur mise en valeur auprès de la communauté universitaire et du grand public, soulignant ainsi l'importance des relations entre l'université et la société. L'une des déclinaisons de ce programme porte sur les antiquités grecques de l'Institut d'art et d'archéologie de Paris. Il s'agit du programme AGIAs.
