Which Method to Support Multicriteria Decision Making Systematically in IS Engineering?

Abstract : Many decisions are made in the field of Information Systems (IS) engineering. On the other hand, many methods are also available to support decision-making in a systematic way. In this paper, we investigate the issues of the selection and application of multicriteria (MC) decision-making methods in the IS engineering domain. Our approach helps modeling decision-making situations at two levels. Based on this, our approach guides the selection and application of MC methods systematically depending on the situation at hand.
