Des terres cuites pour Déméter. Observations sur la petite plastique du sanctuaire de Vamies (Itanos, Crète)

Abstract : Te suburban sanctuary of Vamies has yielded a rich collection of votive terracottas spanning the Archaic through the Hellenistic period. Te coroplastic types tend to confrm the identifcation of a cult of Demeter, as suggested by the location. With several parallels in Eastern Crete, these Archaic fgurines contribute to the defnition of a regional style of Daedalic sculpture.
